GAUGE 3 SOCIETY OUTING TO BEKONSCOT
11th September 2010. Bekonscot Model Village, Warwick Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire HP9 2PL. Bekonscot is the oldest original model village in the world. It is mainly 1:12 scale, but the extensive railway is Gauge 1. After looking around the museum, we meet at closing time (5pm) for a private guided tour of the site. After a break for tea and bickies the tour continues with the workshops and behind the scenes of the railway, the control of which is extremely advanced and we should be able to learn much of relevance to our Gauge 3 garden railways.

To book your place please contact the Chairman as soon as possible.
